My Homelab

A look into my home server setup for self-hosting and AI experimenting.

My Homelab Setup showing power strips, patch panel, switch, Optiplex and Ugreen NAS

My current homelab setup is pretty simple, but it does everything I need. I host all my own services and use it as a playground for whatever I'm building. Here is what is running right now:

Power & Networking

  • • 2x Power Strips keeping it all alive
  • • Patch Panel for clean wiring
  • • Lanberg RSGE-16 Switch handling the network

Compute & Storage

  • • Optiplex 3050 mini. This runs Proxmox and hosts all my services.
  • • UGREEN NAS where I store all my files.

What's Next?

If you look closely at the picture, there is an empty space right below the power strips. That spot is saved for a Mac mini that I am ordering later this year. The plan is to use it for running local AI models and taking my homelab a step further.
